M. F. Djigal, mécanicien de son vivant, a été retrouvé mort dans un véhicule stationné sur le parking du stade Léopold Sédar Senghor, situé au quartier Grand Médine de la Patte d’Oie. Selon WalfQuotidien, le corps présentait des blessures profondes.
Mise au courant suite la découverte macabre le 3 décembre dernier, la police des Parcelles Assainies a ouvert une enquête. Celle-ci a établi, poursuit le journal, que c’est à la suite d’une bagarre que le défunt a rendu l’âme. Son présumé meurtrier, M. Niang, lui a asséné un coup à l’aide d’une paire de ciseaux.
La victime a succombé à ses blessures dans le véhicule d’un particulier qui tentait de le transporter à l’hôpital, indique le quotidien. Qui affirme que le père du mis en cause a lui-même livré son fils aux policiers alors que ce dernier s’était réfugié à Guédiawaye.
Niang a été déféré au parquet puis envoyé en prison pour homicide volontaire et détention d’arme blanche. Il a reconnu son crime.
