Les faits se sont déroulés dans la nuit du samedi au dimanche vers 2 heures du matin. À l’origine, une dispute entre M. S et son épouse D. D., soupçonnée d’entretenir des relations coupables avec d’autres hommes du village.
C’est ainsi qu’il l’a poignardé à trois reprises au ventre. Le corps sans vie de D. D a été transporté à la morgue de l’hôpital de Tamba.
