Les éléments de la Section de recherches de la gendarmerie de Thiès ont interpellé une bande d'individus présentés comme des escrocs sur le net, dont une figure très connue nommée Cheikh Oumar Diop “Borom solution”.
Ce dernier, selon les informations du quotidien « EnQuête », qui fait des annonces explosives via les réseaux sociaux par prédiction, a attiré une personne en détresse.
Après lui avoir proposé ses produits qui n'ont pas donné satisfaction, l’a mise en contact avec un de ses acolytes du nom M. Fall alias “Goudiaby”. À ce jeu, ils ont réussi à soutirer à leur victime des dizaines de millions de francs CFA sous une fausse identité, croyant pouvoir échapper à la justice.
Selon nos confrères, l'enquête ouverte à la Section de recherches de Thiès, suite à une plainte de la victime, a permis de les interpeller. Ils ont été déférés au tribunal de grande instance de Thiès et sont actuellement sous mandat de dépôt, en attendant leur jugement.
