Six personnes ont été arrêtées ce weekend pour avoir volé un conteneur de vingt tonnes de cyanure appartenant à la société minière Endeavour Mining de Sabodala, a appris lundi l’Aps auprès du parquet du tribunal de grande instance de Kédougou. Parmi eux, il y a le chef du dépôt magasinier du département Where House de la société
Le 14 mai dernier, la société minière Endeavour Mining de Sabodala avait payé quatre conteneurs de cyanure en Côte d’Ivoire pour les besoins de l’exploitation du minerais. Et chaque conteneur contenait vingt tonnes de produit de cyanure.Quand les conteneurs de Cyanure sont arrivés au Sénégal, ils ont été directement convoyés au niveau de la mine de Sabodala où trois conteneurs ont été déchargés, le quatrième amené à Kédougou et vendu dans la capitale régionale à des détaillants burkinabè.
C’est un deal qui a été bien organisé par le superviseur et le chef du dépôt magasinier du département Where House et les agents de sécurité de la société minière Endeavour Mining.
Le superviseur du département Where House de Endeavour Mining et les détaillants Burkinabés ont pris la fuite. Ils sont poursuivis pour vol de vingt tonnes de cyanure et mise en danger de la vie d’autrui.
