Fils de Seydina Ababacar Lahi et petit fils de Seydina Limamou Lahi (Psl), Chérif Mouhamadou Bachir Lahi a été enterré au cours de la nuit dernière à Yoff Diamalaye.
Né en 1955, le défunt occupait une place active dans la célébration de l’Appel des Layènes par les conférences et causeries qu’il assurait durant le rendez-vous religieux. Il a pendant plusieurs années dirigé la prière à la grande mosquée de Layène.
