Compétitions africaines : Déplacements périlleux ce week-end pour Teungueth et Jaraaf
Le club de Rufisque, qui avait atteint les phases de poules lors de sa dernière participation à la Ligue des champions d’Afrique (2021), tentera samedi de ramener un bon résultat de Côte d’Ivoire afin d’aborder au mieux la manche retour. Toutefois, avec l’euphorie que connaît le football ivoirien depuis le sacre des Éléphants à la CAN 2023, ce match pour Teungueth FC ne sera pas une partie de plaisir.
Tout comme Teungueth, le Jaraaf entame également sa campagne africaine à l’extérieur. Les hommes du président Cheikh Ahmed Tidiane Seck affrontent l’East End Lions en Sierra Leone. À Freetown, Souleymane Cissé et ses coéquipiers devront rester vigilants pour éviter le piège sierra-léonais. Cependant, malgré la qualité de son effectif, le Jaraaf devra faire appel à son expérience africaine pour revenir de Sierra Leone avec un bon résultat.
