Un homme de 45 ans a été secouru par un biologiste qui se trouvait sur le même vol, mais plus de peur que de mal. « J’ai l’esprit plein de bons souvenirs », a déclaré Loïc dans une interview au journal Ouest-France, lorsqu’une famille française s’est envolée de Dakar pour Nantes samedi, après un agréable séjour au Sénégal.
Seulement ici : Une heure et demie après le décollage, le gendre de Loïc Xavier attrape son sac à dos et va prendre ses médicaments. L’homme de 45 ans était stressé par les turbulences. Il a fouillé dans son sac et a senti une « piqûre violente dans son doigt » et a vu un scorpion.
Pris d’une douleur intense au bras, « insupportable » selon ses termes, Xavier se fait prendre sa tension. Son beau-père raconte qu’il « présentait alors une hypertension artérielle laissant craindre le pire ».
Heureusement, un biologiste à bord a pu prodiguer les premiers soins à Xavier. Les analgésiques et les anti-inflammatoires ont leur propre rôle. « Dans ce cas, comme le venin de scorpion, il s’agit souvent d’un choc cardiaque, qui peut être très grave pour les personnes fragiles ou âgées », souligne le biologiste.
