La justice populaire a encore fait une victime à Touba. Un présumé voleur a été battu à mort vendredi dernier. Le corps sans vie a été abandonné dans la rue.
Une véritable scène d'horreur s'est passée au quartier Dianatou Saloum, situé non loin de la nouvelle gare routière de Touba. Une tentative de vol y a viré au drame.
Que s'est-il passé ?
Une dame avait remis son téléphone portable à un talibé pour qu'il lui retire de l'argent au multiservice du coin [...]. Sur ces entrefaites, un homme âgé d'environ 25 ans a intercepté l'enfant en cours de route et s'est enfui avec le portable, selon une source de Seneweb proche du dossier. Le talibé a crié de toutes ses forces pour alerter le quartier.
C'est ainsi que des riverains ont réussi à mettre la main sur le présumé voleur. Ce dernier a été lynché à mort. Les faits se sont déroulés vendredi dernier dans la matinée.
Le corps sans vie a été abandonné dans la rue. Il sera découvert par un agent de l'État [...] qui a aussitôt saisi le commissariat spécial de Touba.
Après le constat de la police, la dépouille mortelle a été déposée à la morgue de l'hôpital par les sapeurs-pompiers.
Aucun habitant du quartier n'a voulu dénoncer les présumés auteurs du meurtre.
La police poursuit son enquête.
