Un violent accident s’est produit ce matin sur la RN2 à Ndialam (22 kilomètres de Saint-Louis) non loin du centre de l’ISRA. Neuf (9) personnes ont perdu la vie. Dix-huit blessés (18) ont été enregistrés dont douze (12) dans un état grave.
Un camion a violemment heurté un véhicule de transport inter urbain appelé « gueuleu gueleu ».
Des mères de famille et d'autres personnes provenant des villages environnants étaient à bord de ce véhicule. Elles venaient s'approvisionner à Saint- Louis à l'occasion de la Korité.
Les sapeurs pompiers se sont déployés sur les lieux pour le transfert des corps et des blessés au centre hospitalier régional universitaire de Saint-Louis.
