Deux pirogues parties du Sénégal ont échoué le weekend dernier au Maroc. L’annonce est faite par Helena Malen Garzon, fondatrice de Caminando Fronteras, un collectif qui défend les droits des personnes et des communautés en mouvement (site de l’association).
Selon Libération qui donne l’information Helena rapporte que vendredi dernier, une embarcation avec 72 migrants à bord a été intercepté. « Dix-neuf personnes ont été hospitalisées : 17 Sénégalais, 1 Gambien et 1 Malien. Les survivants déclarent que 14 personnes sont décédées », a-t-elle signalé.
Selon Helena Malen Garzon samedi dernier, « un autre bateau sénégalais est arrivé à Dakhla avec 60 personnes dont deux femmes. Les survivants déclarent que 100 personnes sont décédées pendant le voyage ».
