L'irréparable s'est produit entre 4 heures et 5 heures du matin au niveau de l'arrêt des bus de transport en commun faisant la navette entre le Sénégal et les autres pays limitrophes dont le Mali.
Le jeune Abdourahim Niass âgé d'une vingtaine d'années, aurait été accusé d'avoir voulu dérober des biens dans l'un des bus maliens stationnés près de l'immeuble des Bambara sis à Léona.
C'est ainsi qu'il a été appréhendé et battu à mort par des étrangers. Et selon notre source, le meurtre du petit fils de Mame khalifa Niass a failli occasionner de véritables représailles et n'eût été l'intervention des forces de l'ordre, l'irréparable se serait produit. Par contre, le bus en question a été complètement saccagé par une foule en furie.
Aux dernières nouvelles, le corps de la victime a été déposé à la morgue de l'hôpital de Kaolack. Une enquête a été ouverte...
