Dans une note parvenue à Seneweb, la marine nationale renseigne que « le patrouilleur 'Fouladou' a arraisonné un navire avec une importante quantité de produits stupéfiants à bord. La saisie a été faite à plus de 150 km au sud de Dakar, dans la nuit du dimanche 26 au lundi 27 novembre 2023 », a-t-on appris.
Le colonel Saliou Ngom, de la Direction de l’information et des relations publiques des armées (DIRPA) poursuit que le « navire a été escorté jusqu’à la base navale Amiral Faye Gassama où il a accosté ce mardi 28 novembre 2023. Il ajoute que « les structures compétentes procèdent à l’identification et au décompte des produits saisis », informe-t-il dans la note.
