Selon le bureau exécutif de Frapp, des prisonniers de la chambre 09 de Rebeuss sont restés pendant 04 jours sans eau. Le mouvement ajoute que ces derniers ont été obligés d’acheter des bouteilles d’eau minérale de 10 litres pour prendre douche.
« Les prisonniers de la chambre 09 de la prison de Rebeuss sont restés quatre (04) jours sans eau. Certains prisonniers ont été obligés d’acheter des bouteilles d’eau minérale de 10L pour prendre leur douche. Le FRAPP dénonce cette situation et interpelle le directeur de l’administration pénitentiaire et le ministre de la justice », lit-on dans le communiqué
Avant de poursuivre : « Le FRAPP dénonce la surpopulation carcérale dans cette chambre 09 de Rebeuss avec 250 prisonniers dont certains restent des mois sans se coucher. À la chambre 10 un détenu du nom de Babacar Fall a été torturé. Il est présentement à l’infirmerie. Le FRAPP rappelle à l’administration pénitentiaire que le Sénégal a signé des conventions internationales contre la torture », a conclu le bureau exécutif
