Touché lors de la victoire face au CD Lugo (1-0), ce dimanche à l’occasion de la 33e journée de la D3 espagnole, Mamadou Mbacké Fall devrait être absent des terrains pour un certain moment. Le défenseur central sénégalais de 22 ans « souffre d’une entorse à la cheville gauche », a révélé le Barça Atlètic dans un communiqué publié ce lundi 22 avril 2024.
Une mauvaise nouvelle pour la filiale du FC Barcelone, qui devra faire sans Mbacké Fall pendant plusieurs matchs. Car selon Sport, l’international espoir sénégalais devrait être absent des terrains pendant au minimum un mois. Ainsi, il devrait manquer les cinq dernières journées de Primera RFEF. Toutefois, un retour pour les play-offs de montée en D2 n’est pas écarté.
Prêté par le Los Angeles FC avec une option d’achat d’environ quatre millions d’euros, Mbacké avait manqué les dix premiers matchs de la saison du Barça B pour un souci administratif. Depuis qu’il a fait ses débuts contre Majadahonda, le 4 novembre 2023, il s’est imposé aux côtés de Mikayil Ngor Faye. Il a joué 22 matchs, marqué 2 buts et délivré 2 passes décisives.
