Certains des plus grands noms du football africain ont rejoint leurs homologues marocains lors d’un match d’exhibition organisé en hommage aux victimes du tremblement de terre survenu, il y a quelques mois.
Le 8 septembre dernier, un tremblement de terre d’une magnitude de 7 ravageait le Maroc et ses provinces des montagnes de l’Atlas, à 70 km au sud de Marrakech.
Trois mois plus tard, la ville ocre panse ses plaies et va de l’avant. Une résilience dont les légendes du football africain ont voulu saluer par un match de gala qui a eu lieu dimanche au Grand Stade de Marrakech.
Rejoints par plus de 100 enfants de Marrakech et de sa banlieue, ainsi qu’un certain nombre d’officiels du football, les Légendes CAF ont démontré qu’ils avaient encore de beau reste.
Étaient présents à l’événement : El Hadji Diouf (Sénégal), Samuel Eto’o (Cameroun), Manuel Jose Luis Bucuane (Mozambique), Emmanuel Adebayor (Togo), Geremi Njitap (Cameroun), Pascal Feindouno (Guinée), Herita Ilunga (RD Congo), Charles Kabore (Burkina Faso), Thomas Nkono (Cameroun) and Abedi Pele (Ghana).
Emmanuel Amunike (Nigeria), Ahmed Hassan (Egypte), Siaka Tiene (Côte d’Ivoire), Jonathan Pitroipa (Burkina Faso), Kalusha Bwalya (Zambie), Khalilou Fadiga (Sénégal), Patrick M’Boma (Cameroun), Titi Camara (Guinée), Salomon Kalou (Côte d’Ivoire), Siphiwe Tshabalala (Afrique du Sud), Anthony Baffoe (Ghana) et Mustapha El Haddaoui (Maroc)
