La vidéo de l’arrestation, diffusée en juillet par ses avocats, est devenue virale, entraînant la publication des images des caméras-piétons par la police et l'ouverture d'une enquête interne.
Jugé, McNeil a plaidé coupable pour résistance sans violence?; l’agent ayant porté les coups a été suspendu, une enquête est en cours.
