L’épouse de l’adjudant-chef Didier Badji, en service à l’Inspection générale d’État (Ige), a décidé d’entamer une grève de la faim. “J’ai écrit jusqu’au Commandant de la gendarmerie nationale. Je n’ai reçu aucune réponse. Je dis ça suffit”, fulmine-t-elle, dans une vidéo devenue virale sur les réseaux sociaux. Elle exige la lumière plus d’un an après la mystérieuse disparition de son époux.
L’affaire a marqué l’année 2022. L’Adjudant-chef Didier Badji en service en l’Inspection Générale d’État (Ige) et le Sergent Fulbert Sambou, de la Direction des Renseignements militaires n’ont plus fait signe de vie depuis la soirée du samedi 19 novembre. Dans un communiqué daté du 21 novembre, le Parquet signalait que la géolocalisation des appareils des disparus a permis de les situer consécutivement au niveau des falaises rocheuses du Cap Manuel où ont été retrouvés par ailleurs un filet de pêche tendu, des restes d’appât de crevettes ainsi que des chaussures appartenant aux susnommés. Tout en indiquant que des recherches ont été enclenchées.
Le corps de Fulbert Sambou sera identifié, quatre jours plus tard, après le repêchage le 23 novembre, d’un corps sans vie aux larges des côtes sénégalaises avant son inhumation le 30 novembre.
Le maître des poursuites renseignait qu’”aucun signe traumatique ou de traces de violences n’ont pu être décelés sur le corps.” Mais, “l’état de décomposition avancée ne permettait pas d’établir les causes du décès », avait-il conclu, arguant que les investigations se poursuivent concernant l’Adjudant Didier Badji.
Selon son épouse, le Procureur a oublié le dossier.
