Sadio Mané s’est relancé dans la course au Ballon d’Or après avoir qualifié Liverpool en finale de FA Cup face à Manchester City. Le Champion d’Afrique est désormais considéré comme un potentiel Ballon d’Or.
Au poste de commentateur pour le clasico PSG-OM, Habib Beye a analysé les chances de voir Sadio Mané remporter le Ballon d’Or devant Karim Benzema.
« Avec la saison qu’il est en train de faire en ayant gagné la Coupe d’Afrique des Nations et en étant performant avec Liverpool, y’aura Benzema dans la course mais Sadio Mané depuis quelques années est présent dans ces grandes compétitions. On espère un jour que quelqu’un puisse succéder à Geaorges Weah. Si c’est Sadio Mané j’en serait heureux mais ça va être une forte concurrence s’il continue comme ça », a t-il déclaré.
