La foudre a tué un homme et blessé 2 personnes lors des fortes pluies qui se sont abattues sur le département de Koungheul.
Les victimes étaient à bord d'une charrette tirée par deux ânes lorsque la décharge s'est abattue sur elles. Âgé de 23 ans, Cheikh Aliou Bitèye, a finalement succombé à ses blessures avant d'être déposé à la morgue de l’hôpital de Koungheul. Les blessés du nom de Khady Mbow et Lamine Bitèye ont été évacués au poste de santé de Kaffate.
Les deux ânes ont été également calcinés...
