L'irréparable s'est produit hier mardi aux environs de 20 heures à Sinthiou Kowél, un village de la commune de Kaymor dans le département de Nioro du rip. Un jeune âgé d'une vingtaine d'années s' est donné la mort en se jetant dans un puits.
Selon ses proches, la victime souffrait de troubles psychiques. Son corps a été repêché plus tard par les sapeurs pompiers avant d'être transporté au centre de santé de Nioro du rip.
La gendarmerie a ouvert une enquête sur les circonstances du drame.
